Wolf Creek Idea Group was founded in 2002 by C. K. (Wolf) Kuhlemeier in Lubbock, Texas to service the growing internet commerce industry and assist small to medium size business build a solid web presence, while providing all the necessary services needed to be successful with an e-marketing strategy.

Kuhlemeier comes from many years of marketing experience.  As the original owner of a sports marketing firm, Kuhlemeier saw the value of the web early, and began website consultation and sales in 1996.  As the web improved, Kuhlemeier moved from sports marketing to web marketing and public relations in 2002, as Wolf Creek Idea Group was formed.  

In the beginning, Wolf Creek Idea Group managed html based websites as "Web Business Cards" for small business.  After the clientele began to grow, Wolf Creek Idea Group began including more PHP based coding and MySQL database services.   The idea was to find easily maintained websites for clients to control their own web destiny.  This brought WCIG to Joomla! (Formerly associated with Mambo) and the most powerful Content Management System (CMS) on the web!

As a part time developer for Joomla!, Kuhlemeier learned the in's and out's of the system, and began launching sites for clients with the use of Joomla web developers and customized solutions built to integrate and use the power of Joomla!

In 2006, Wolf Creek Idea Group began hosting services with basic shared hosting packages.  Since, the addition of dedicated options and complete hosting management is moving them forward as quality Joomla hosting service. 

In 2007, WCIG added Public Relations and search engine marketing services, and continues to grow with the clients the firm enjoys.
