When dealing with the web, there is only one thing that matters...Results!

How do we measure results? We utilize many tools, including Google Analytics, Traffic Analysis tools, Cross Promotion tools, built in solutions and more.

When it comes to giving your site the edge, we've found that there are a lot of other things one needs to know to help make the site more effective than the beauty or presentation.

How many people visited the site?

This is the easy bit - how many people today, yesterday, last week, last month, last year, or even between 2 specific dates, came to your website?

users

Where did they come from?

Do they come from Google or Yahoo? Is there a key business partner you have referring a lot of traffic from their website? Also, what keywords did they enter into Google to find you - this will help you learn about what your clients are looking for, and how you should alter your site to target their needs.

Where do they click on each page?

Are they clicking the Products list? After they click on the products list, are they leaving the site? If so, your product list may be too complicated. If not, are they continuing through to learn more, then to enquire? If not, they why?

How many people are completing the actions you require?

How many of your website visitors are completing the contact us form? In the example shown 853 people arrive at the site, 126 added something to their cart, and were prompted to login or register, and 21 then continued successfully. 105 users (83%!) abandoned the process, meaning changes to simplify the signup/checkout process would significantly increase sales.
