After many years, and a dull look from their old site that didn't invite "new visitors" to the hotel, Lubbock GuestHouse Inn needed to update their site with a stronger presence that would also compete on search engines with larger companies that draw attention long before the GuestHouse Inn.

This was a basic installation, but needed things like a feature area that showed off their specials and promotions.  Using a third party, reservations are passed through their system in live time to build a site that makes realtime reservations.  This helps their overall performance from reservation to desk to final stay.

This site uses Joomla specific components Artio JoomSEF, XMap and FlexBanner.  Frontpage Slideshow shows a small presentation in the left column that helps visitors assess the hotel's amenities.  Using FHW-Pagepeel, the upper right corner folds down to reveal an instant coupon for making a reservation online, and RS Monials helps to deliver testimonials from past guests that help support the hotel's mission to make sure that all residents enjoy their stay.  RokTabs and Rokweather round out the list of modules used to add effect and customer interactivity.  The RokTabs module also delivers a buried html/php page that links into the reservations system from the frontpage.

We felt great about the bright interactive approach, and the client was satisfied with our work on their behalf, and looks forward to the SEO that will follow for online and search engine marketing.
